Rolling RotoRun - Rotary Poker Run & Picnic

The Rotary Club of Cincinnati 2020 Picnic is on and WE ARE ON A ROLL! Join us for the Rollin’ Rota Run on Saturday, August 22, 2020, in conjunction with the Southern Ohio Antique Car Club of America. We’re rolling out the fun with a road rally on the backroads of Clermont County with cool sites like the former Milford Novitiate built in 1927, the Stonelick Covered Bridge, an Adena Indian Mound, Dead Man’s Curve, and the Ohio K9 Memorial. As part of the tour, we’ll be doing a drive-by for the residents of SEM Villa Retirement Community so they can see the cars and we can honk and wave! And there’s MORE! This will be a poker run where you’ll receive a playing card at each stop and the best poker hand at the end of the run wins a $100 Amazon Gift Card! WANT MORE YOU SAY? How about FREE ICE CREAM at the end of the run!!

We’ll start the day by meeting at Camp Allyn at 9:30 AM and depart promptly at 10:00 AM. All stops are designed with the COVID-19 social distancing protocols in mind…all will be outdoors and all will allow for at least 6ft spacing. We will have a picnic mid-day at Sycamore Park which will be a BYOF and BYOB (bring your own food and beverages) and for those “non-chefs” in the group we’ll have a stop in route to pick up your lunch just before the picnic stop.

Drive your collectible car, your cool set of wheels, your daily driver or bring on the family SUV or minivan…all are welcome! The cost to attend is only $10/adult and children under 13 are FREE! For those who would like to join the party at the end of the day, we will be returning to Camp Allyn for a social distanced ice cream social so you can meet us there around 3:30 PM. Everyone must RSVP to the Rotary office no later than Saturday, August 15, 2020 at [email protected]. Click HERE for a printable flyer. Please contact the Picnic Committee Chairs: Chris Adams, Angie Ferguson, or Owen Wrassman with any questions you may have about the event.
