Gary Walton, "Ben Franklin the Greatest Founder of Them All"

Gary Walton
Professor Emeritus at Cincinnati State
Founder of the Cincinnati Type & Print Museum
“Ben Franklin the Greatest Founder of Them All”

Gary Walton fell in love with printing in 1968, after one semester of printing basic at Schwab Middle School. He was originally an offset press instructor. He has trained himself in the art of color printing, advance color printing and now digital color printing, and is now sought for his print media expertise. He has consulted and trained printers in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and other parts of the country. He is devoted to the printing craft, and continuously promotes the industry, now at the Cincinnati Type & print Museum. He has trained over 3,400 graphic communications students at Cincinnati State.

Walton is genuinely concerned about the progress of print media education in the printing industry and the growth of the printing industry here in Greater Cincinnati.
