Our next Professional Development Series event, “Why Make Heaven Wait: The 15 Power Truths” with Bob Buechner, will be held at 11:00am, before the Thursday, February 5, 2026, meeting. 

The Instructor

Robert W. Buechner is President of the law firm Buechner Haffer Meyers & Koenig Co., L.P.A. in Cincinnati. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Michigan Law School and has earned the prestigious CLU and ChFC designations form the American College.

He has been designated as a Super Lawyer since 2009 and is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. Nationally recognized as an authority on tax and financial matters, Mr. Buechner has authored six books, published 18 articles and has spoken at over 1,000 tax, financial, and motivational forums. He has also spoken at the Million Dollar Roundtable and nine CLU institutes.

In addition, he has been an entrepreneur starting “Team Coaching for Winning at Life” and has developed a seminar program with Tara L. Robinson titled “Connecting Passion and Purpose.”

Rotarian Bob Buechner will be joining us to discuss his recent book, Why Make Heaven Wait. Heaven is not merely a distant promise or a distant dream. It is something we can experience here and now. It resides in our actions, in how we utilize our God-given gifts, and in the simple pleasures that life affords us. Each moment holds the potential for joy, connection and transcendence and it is through our engagement with these experiences that we can create our own version of heaven on Earth.
