Leigh Fox is President and Chief Executive Officer of altafiber, the Cincinnati-based fiber networking company formerly known as Cincinnati Bell. A Cincinnati native, Fox has spent 25 years with the company and is now in his tenth year as CEO.
Under Fox’s leadership, altafiber has invested more than $2 billion to build and expand its fiber network. Today, the company owns networks across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Hawaiʻi, passing approximately 1.5 million homes, as it continues to expand access to high-speed fiber connectivity.
Fox earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati. His commitment to Greater Cincinnati extends well beyond his role at altafiber. He serves as Chair of the University of Cincinnati Foundation and holds leadership and board positions with numerous civic and charitable organizations, including ArtsWave, the Anthony Muñoz Foundation, Ohio Business Roundtable, United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the Queen City Club.
In 2026, Fox is serving as Campaign Chair for United Way of Greater Cincinnati, continuing his longstanding commitment to strengthening the community. He was also named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year East Central Award winner in 2023.
