Jefferson Award Presentation

Join us this Thursday, March 21, 2024, for a LUNCH (12:00-1:30pm) meeting at The Transept (1205 Elm St, 45202), for our Annual Jefferson Award Presentation.

The Jefferson Awards are presented to those special people in our community who have created a program that serves an unmet need, or a special volunteer who has provided extraordinary services to an organization. A panel will select our three finalists and a winner from all the nominations that we receive from our members and community.

We are fortunate to be one of over 90 cities in the United States to participate in the National Jefferson Award, which was founded in 1972 by Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis and Senator Robert Taft. Our Rotary Club has recognized individuals and service organizations since 2005. Some of our past winners were Crayons to Computers, Freestore Food Bank, Cure Starts Now, LaSoupe, 1N5, Dragonfly Foundation, Lawn Life, Found Village and Reaching Out for Kids Inc.

We are fortunate to have the collaboration with the Cincinnati Enquirer staff member Jennie Key, WCPO Channel 9 Tanya O’Rourke our Emcee, and our videographer Rotarian Steven Easley.

RSVPs are required to attend, whether you are eating lunch or not, so if you would like to attend, please click HERE by 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, or contact [email protected].
