Verena Manolis, President of the Interact Club at Walnut Hills High School, received one of the select book awards voted by the faculty for the most distinguished juniors. She was honored for her high academic achievement and for her highly effective work in the community including Interact with Rotary.

Under Verena’s leadership, Interact members have brought service and joy to the Jimmy Heath House, the women’s shelter, and patients at Children’s Hospital. They have also raised funds for the Rotary Club of Cincinnati’s new solar project in Uganda!
