The Camp Allyn tethered hot air balloon rides are a great Cincinnati Rotary tradition that our Club has hosted for over 30 years every summer for the campers at Camp Allyn. The rides are provided every Tuesday through the summer and offer the campers a unique experience. Rotarians are encouraged to bring their family along to join in the fun with an evening full of smiles, laughter and great Rotarian teamwork. When we are done helping the campers, you and your family can take a turn in the balloon!
Each Tuesday during the summer, we depend on the generosity of our Club members to donate their time to help with the setup, rides and take down of the hot air balloon. This year we will provide dinner for the volunteers before the balloon rides begin. Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. and we will begin setting up for the rides at 6:30 p.m. The rides are usually from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. We will meet between 6:00-6:30 p.m. in Camp Allyn’s parking lot (1414 Lake Allyn Road, Batavia 45103).  Contact Mark Soupene with any questions or to sign-up.

Please add these dates to your calendar and try to make it out a couple of times during the summer! We would love to see you and have additional help! If rides are canceled for any reason, usually due to wind/weather, we will send an email out by 5:00 p.m., the day of the rides.
