Jamie Smith serves as the Market President and Publisher of the Cincinnati Business Courier, where he oversees all operations for Greater Cincinnati’s leading source of local business news. He has been with the Business Courier since 2003, holding leadership roles in advertising, sales, and executive management before becoming publisher.

During his tenure, Smith has helped expand the Courier’s impact through print, digital media, business events, and recognition programs that celebrate the region’s top companies and business leaders. He is a strong advocate for entrepreneurship, economic development, and family-owned businesses throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.

Beyond the Business Courier, Smith has been actively involved with numerous civic and nonprofit organizations, including the University of Cincinnati’s Goering Center for Family & Private Business, where he has served in leadership and advisory roles supporting family-owned businesses across the region.
