Join us on Thursday, October 22, 2026, for a LUNCH (12:00-1:30pm) meeting at The View (1071 Celestial St, 45202), for our Cincinnati Firefighter Recognition program.

On this day, we welcome representatives of the Cincinnati Fire Department, proudly known as “First in the Nation.” Since its founding in 1853 as America’s first fully paid professional fire department, CFD has been a national leader in emergency services and public safety.

Today, its dedicated firefighters and paramedics protect more than 300,000 residents through fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, fire prevention, and community outreach, continuing a tradition of innovation and service that has made Cincinnati a model for fire departments across the country. We will honor members of the Cincinnati Fire Department for their individual accomplishments and their service to our community in the following categories:

Administrative Excellence Award
Hero/Valor Award
Superior Achievement Award
Career Enhancement Award

The Fire Chief will introduce the day’s honorees and also bring us up-to-date on the latest happenings in the department.
