Jamie Smith serves as the Market President and Publisher of the Cincinnati Business Courier, where he oversees all business operations for Greater Cincinnati’s leading business news publication. Since joining the Courier in 2003, he has held leadership positions in advertising, sales, and executive management before being named publisher. In his current role, he leads the organization’s print, digital, events, marketing, and community engagement efforts.

Under Smith’s leadership, the Cincinnati Business Courier has expanded its influence through award-winning business journalism, executive events, industry rankings, and recognition programs such as Forty Under 40, Fast 55, C-Suite Awards, and Women Who Mean Business. He has also launched the Executive Insights interview series, highlighting influential leaders from across the Greater Cincinnati business community.

A longtime advocate for regional economic development and entrepreneurship, Smith is active in numerous civic and business organizations. He is especially passionate about supporting family-owned businesses, fostering leadership development, and connecting the people and companies driving Cincinnati’s economy.
