Rhiannon Hoeweler is Chief Executive Officer of MadTree Brewing, one of Cincinnati’s best-known craft breweries. In April 2026, she was named the company’s first-ever CEO, following a multi-year leadership transition designed to support MadTree’s continued growth and evolution.

Hoeweler joined MadTree in 2020 and has played a significant role in shaping the company’s growth, culture and commitment to community impact. Before becoming CEO, she served as Vice President of Experience & Impact and as MadTree’s first Director of Strategic Impact, leading initiatives focused on sustainability, community engagement and corporate philanthropy. Her work helped MadTree achieve Certified B Corporation status in 2023, making it the only brewery in Ohio with that certification.

Prior to joining MadTree, Hoeweler spent more than a decade with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, ultimately serving as Vice President of Strategy, Business Experience & Fun. Her responsibilities included areas ranging from guest experience and membership to organizational strategy and animal welfare.

As CEO, Hoeweler is focused on growing MadTree while maintaining the company’s emphasis on purpose, sustainability and community. MadTree has set a goal of delivering $5 million in community and environmental impact by 2030, and its initiatives have included tree planting, nonprofit partnerships, employee volunteerism and investments throughout Greater Cincinnati.
