Peter Bronson is a Cincinnati-based author, journalist, and former newspaper editor known for his bestselling books on regional history and compelling storytelling about the Queen City.

Bronson spent nearly 20 years as editorial page editor and columnist for the The Cincinnati Enquirer, where his work earned multiple awards, including recognition for Best Editorial Page in Ohio.

Before moving to Cincinnati in 1992, he held similar roles at the Tucson Citizen and began his journalism career in Michigan after graduating from Michigan State University.

He is the founder of Chilidog Press, a publishing and editorial services company through which he has authored and produced numerous books. His works—often focused on Cincinnati history—include The Man Who Saved Cincinnati, Not in Our Town, Forbidden Fruit, and Magical History Tour.

In addition to print journalism, Bronson has worked in television and radio, including as a panelist and producer on WCPO-TV’s public affairs program Hotseat.

Today, he is widely recognized as a local historian and storyteller, bringing Cincinnati’s past to life through books, speaking engagements, and media appearances. He lives in the Cincinnati area with his wife.
