Bridgette Trela is the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) of the FBI’s Cincinnati Field Office, where she leads the Cyber, Intelligence, and Mission Services Branch. In this role, she oversees investigations and operations involving cybercrime, national security, intelligence, and mission support throughout the Cincinnati Division.

Trela has more than 20 years of experience with the FBI. Throughout her career, she has held leadership and investigative assignments involving criminal investigations, national security, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs. She has also served in senior positions within FBI Headquarters, including work supporting the Bureau’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate and national preparedness initiatives.

Raised in an “FBI family,” Trela has shared that her father was an FBI Special Agent and that receiving her own FBI credentials engraved with his identification number was one of the proudest moments of her career. She is an active mentor and frequently speaks to students and professional organizations about careers in federal law enforcement, leadership, cybersecurity, and public service.
